Welcome to Jacaranda Tree Montessori

Jacaranda Tree Montessori is Amsterdam’s only Montessori playgroup and welcomes parents with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers up to 4 years old. Located near the Vondelpark.

UPDATE:
We are going to re-open with some small group classes in June and hopefully we will be back with our regular classes after the summer break.

In the meantime, there is a waitlist for the classes. Please complete an application form as soon as possible as the waitlist can be 12-18+ months. And we’ll be in touch once there is a space.

LOOKING FOR A PEACEFUL PLACE TO LEARN WITH YOUR CHILD?

Children use child-sized equipment, develop independence and concentration, and develop responsibility for themselves, the environment and others.

Located in Oud Zuid, it is a beautiful, calm environment with lots of light and space, set up for both the children and their parents.

We also run parent workshops including a How to Talk So Kids Will Listen workshop and 1-day First Aid course in English for parents.

Playgroup classes

The Montessori playgroup classes at Jacaranda Tree Montessori are held every day. The activities in the class are specially selected based on the age of the children in the class.
